We offer a 14-day return and exchange policy on all online purchases. Items can be returned or exchanged for shop credit or replacement, excluding shipping and courier costs. If you wish to exchange a product, you must ensure it is undamaged, unused, and unopened, with all original labels, stickers, and seals still attached. Any exchange requests beyond the 14-day period or for opened items will incur a 10% handling charge, an administrative fee, and courier costs. Products Damaged On Delivery

Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery / collection, please make a note on your delivery note or proof of delivery and notify us immediately of such delivery / collection by logging a return by email to orders@securityeo.co.za

Warranty Policy:

All items purchased except for batteries through Security Expert Online come with a 12-month warranty, which will be honoured by our company. Warranty claims may involve evaluation by our suppliers or importers before a replacement, repair, or shop credit is provided.

The warranty will not cover damage or injury resulting from electricity fluctuations, improper use, physical damage, infestation, unauthorized repairs, or alterations to the product. Any tampering with the warranty seal will void the warranty.

Battery Warranty Conditions Summary:

• The battery is intended for standby backup in UPS, Inverters, alarm systems, and gate motors; unauthorized use will void the warranty.
• Installation of a fuse or suitable DC breaker between the inverter/charge/UPS and the battery is mandatory to prevent damage and maintain warranty validity.
• The battery should be used indoors or outdoors but protected from water and prolonged sunlight exposure.
• Contamination of the battery by foreign or corrosive matter is not covered under warranty.
• Neglect, abuse, improper installation, freezing, fire, flooding, or acts of nature will void the warranty.
• Surges or spikes from the inverter or charging device that damage the battery are not covered.
• Incorrect installation, setup, or sizing of the inverter, charger, or solar system can invalidate the warranty.
• Regular refresh charges every 5-6 months are required for batteries in storage before final installation.
•  Tampering with the firmware or BMS, overloading the battery, temperature exceeding 55 degrees Celsius, mixing with non-Hubble batteries, or unauthorized servicing will void the warranty.
• Removal or tampering of the serial number, short-circuit events, peripheral electrical equipment damage, or use of out-of-spec inverters/chargers will void the warranty.

To initiate a warranty claim, please email us on orders@securityeo.co.za. All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Security Expert Online. If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or shop credit, depending on stock availability.
